Eligibility:

A Plus Real Estate Academy offers online and in-class courses to fit all students schedules and learning styles.  A Plus Real Estate Academy even offers individual and small group tutoring.

Step 1

Turn in a completed licsensure application with Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Real Estate Division.

Licensure Package for Pre-Salesperson

(This includes an application, fee schedule, fingerprinting, and transcripts if applicable)

Allow approximately 4-6 weeks for application approval - minimum.

**Start the application process with the Florida Dept of Business WAY before taking the Pre- Licensure Salesperson course. The thought process behind this is that the sooner you can take the State Licensure Exam after completing the Coursework- the greater the chance you will have retained the Real Estate knowledge necessary to pass the state test. A Plus Real Estate Academy wants you to take the state test as soon as you complete the course before a “brain drain” occurs.

Step 2:

Complete a 63 hour pre-license course prescribed by the Florida Real Estate Commission. A Plus Real Estate Academy offers a wide range courses and schedules to meet all of our students needs.

Combo Courses- Online and In-Class.  Go at your own speed and hours for the online portion- even the final exam is Online.  Attend classes for additional clarification.

CD-ROM

All Salesperson Licensure courses will be presented with information concerning the practice of real estate, including property rights, title concepts, taxes, liens, contracts, mortgages, planning and zoning, appraising, investments, agency and license law. Students are required to pass a Classroom Exam during hour 60 to 63.

Step 3:

Once a state application is approved and the 63-hour course is completed, you can then schedule a testing appointment to take the state exam. There are testing locations throughout the state of Florida with the closest being in Northeast Pensacola. Testing can be taken morning, afternoon and evening on Monday through Saturday.
